I hate this wishy washy stage at the beginning of a painting, but I didn’t get enough sleep last night to get much done before I had to run away. Powers of concentration are always crap without sleep, which is why I developed sleep anxiety while I was working and got paid on production #watercolor 🎨

I had started this project in the winter, the first time I had carved linoleum since high school. What I didn’t realize is that my studio is too damn cold in the winter to actually do more than chip linoleum, so I picked it up today and I’m excited to ink this up soon! 🎨 #printmaking #wip #artsky

We recently had our 42nd anniversary so I baked a Lemon Bliss cake from #kingarthurbaking to celebrate today. This is my 2nd time baking this, and I cut the bake time back by 5 minutes this time. And it was perfect. I also used zest instead if the lemon oil option and added Fleur de Soleil #bakesky

Today I did something I haven’t done in a while and made a card. My daughter needed a wedding card for a friend who loves camping with her fiancé. Of course, I ended up ordering $65 worth of stuff to make it LOL. It was fun and now I have a big mess. #papercrafts #cardmaking #rubberstamping

I slept badly last nighr so decided to do a hard reset. My sleep has been wonky lately and drinking coffee later and later makes it worse so making these Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Muffins kept me awake this morning. Time for a nap #bakesky #muffins www.thebakingchocolatess.com/peanut-butte...
