I picked this up on a whim from @japanretrodirect.bsky.social a while back. It's an old game freak joint that makes a great case for the mouse peripheral. It's also just really cute. Glad more people might stumble into Mario & Wario now lol.

To Canadian customers:

Looks like a postal strike. So if you make an airmail order your package will probably be delayed until normal operations resume. Yamato shipping is still available but it can only be shipped to a business address (home business is OK, but I cannot leave that field blank)

Not sure how many people are interested in this but I stream sometimes while I am testing/cleaning games for the shop. I am testing Famicom stuff today (and maybe a bit of Saturn) so if you have interest I'm going live in about 90 min. I hear it's nice as background sound while doing dishes/laundry.

Vinnk got a Switch 2!! But today he wants to play FAMICOM instead.

Tariffs might sting the Temus of the world, but they can definitely kill small special interest shops like this.

Around the 6 or 7 game mark it is actually usually cheaper per game than Japan Post Airmail was. That’s because Yamato has the flat fee up to 2kg. So 1 game is $32 but a box of 12 games is also $32. (Edited, had the wrong number n there)

I wasn’t aware of this store before but I just took a look at their stuff and it’s a treasure trove of cool shit at ridiculously good prices. Strongly recommend giving it a look if you can. 32 bucks for shipping isn’t that bad when you’re buying more than one or two games.
