We were all taught growing up that you should wet your toothbrush before you put on toothpaste. But obviously that's not necessary. The toothpaste will stick just fine. So why do we teach that to kids?My theory is because the first toothpaste was actual paste and very dry, you needed water to use it

Alright, 3 chapters finished today. I still have the motivation to write but it's late and I need to wake up early tomorrow to go volunteer so I need my sleep. Still 3 chapters is good progress. I'll spend some time tomorrow getting the uploads for the next week set up

Yeah, I agree. Or rather, I wish I could just use the UI of the system I like. I want the UI of windows 7 and the functionality it has without all this fluff.

Windows 8 was the one they built for tablets and pretended it could function as a computer OS, windows 9 was scrapped cause it was so bad they cancelled it in testing

I finally made the switch to windows 11. I'm still mad I had to do this but it's whatever. I shall adapt.

Although this upgrade feels gratuitous and I don't like how it looks, I admit I was dreading it far more than I think was nessicary.

It looks bad but it's fine. I'll live.

I did an adult and built myself a gaming chair!

My couch was dying so I bought a chair to sit on instead. It came unassembled and I, like a big boi, built it all by myself. 😆😁

I have some ideas but yeah if you don't have many ingredients it would be hard. But with pasta and rice you might be able to make koshary with some changes. You could just eliminate the gluten parts for your dish when it's time to serve

More the second than the first. But when I write I have an outline for events I want to hit. Sometimes an event takes half a chapter, sometimes it can take multiple, sometimes an event is vague and becomes multiple smaller events. I just end each chapter when it feels right

Just wish it wasn't, technically, a fan fiction but I'm having fun and I'm getting a lot of positive feedback so it's fiiiiine. Better to write a monster of a story than leave myself unsatisfied that I didn't do enough! Lol.
