No. Though I did go on to say (after someone else brought it up) that (a) paraphrasing isn't a proper use of quotes, and (b) using quotes to claim that someone said something they didn't say *could,* depending on the circumstances, form the basis of a defamation claim.

Also hard to understand how sitting in front of a computer screen 2,000 miles away could ever possibly qualify as "fog of war."

Ok glad I asked bc that's not a remotely accurate understanding of events. All I did was object when someone claimed I said something I inarguably did not say. I was not "offended," nor did I claim it was defamatory.
