Right, I know. Its hard to explain.

I guess what I'm trying to say is when it is possible for me to tune people out, that time slot would fall when I'm around my family. I get so little time with them that they would be the ones getting ignored & I don't want to do that to them.

I dont want to ignore people, I just need to find a moment of my own.

Well, I can't get away from people long enough for ear buds, ive always got music going & I don't smoke...

It is, but there are still cool things to do, like go shopping & out to dinner with friends & family. 🙂

I do have in ear monitors that I wear for band rehearsals & on stage.

Not an option when you have others around you.

Its difficult. There is always someone or many people around me. The only way I am ever truly alone is when I use the restroom.
