Of course I see flaws in the system, but I also don’t recall Mark Cuban designing our healthcare system.

Should I not look for a solution for my illness because the system isn’t perfect? Should my son grow up without a physically present father?

My big motivator for seeking experimental care was to be a more active parent despite being disabled. And if in this current juncture given our country’s problems, a billionaire helped me do that, so be it.

And if you have a problem with me trying to get my life back, you are deeply troubled.

@mcuban.bsky.social Mark’s company allowed me access to multiple medications that my medical team was trying to get me on that insurance was denying. So I thanked him.

I’m not going to insult you or suggest things about you like you did me. But I will share one thing.

I ABSOLUTELY think there should be major healthcare reform AND a major wealth tax in our country. But that doesn’t change my current reality or the reality of other disabled people in a similar situation to me.

You are assigning my entire belief system and political ideology over a post in which i thanked someone who started a company that allowed me to get medicine that i couldn’t otherwise get.

If I told you what I’ve had to go through to get adequate care over the last 3 years, you wouldn’t believe me. Or you would, which means I just empathize greatly with whatever you went through.

It is not just an inconvenience, it’s degrading.
