Trans gal mainly posting about New Zealand, Cricket and whateven stupid shit crosses my mind. Opinions regrettably my own.
Weak but not disagreeable, which honestly is more than I expected from the Government, one that has shown itself to kiss the feet of the Furher in Chief in the US.

He always has been an odd person, I remember an article back in 2020 where he came out in support of legalising marijuana. His basis being that you cannot respect the rule of law while maintaining a law no cop actually enforces.

The fuck even is this image? It goes beyond their propaganda shit and into just pure graphic design is my passion.

I clearly have not been enough of a poster this year, shame on me.

They tend to be people known well in their field, more than just famous people. Speaking from experience, since my Great Aunt got a QSM a few years back.

I do know some rioters, they call themselves Destiny Church.

To be fair, Trump has as many people liking him as most politicians and is way more disliked, and Charles for most people's day to day has little impact. The part that I find funny is the people who apparently have never heard of him, or of the Labour and National Party.

I struggle to see, even with the current mess, them not winning a few seats. Hell even with the party vote going people may still vote for TPM MPs locally, the Maori Electorate are much more savvy than the wider one.

To be honest, I can believe a kid being like that, because I was that kind of fucking nerd. However, I do not believe Luxon because I know my type, and his corpo white bread ass is not it.

The only aspirations that never came to being aside from very specific projects was reducing child poverty and building housing, and both were doing better until the entire world went upside down in 2020.

Weirdly both Labour and National are shit talking their previous governments.

For me, I find them distinct but fulled interlocked. As I do more physical changes, the more the mental realm expands. As my own sense of self grows, what it means for my physical desires changes. To me "transition" is about balancing those. Which is why I find other processes of thought wonderful

I always thought of it as just trans, covering both the mental and physical.

Some people just know they are right away, and the challenge is making the body and expression fit.

For me, I never really did consider it till it hit, and required a massive change in how I look inward at myself.
December 14, 2025 at 10:10 AM
I remember reading it and just finding the idea of using cis to describe any trans people really offputting. The whole thing could have been a really interesting space to examine transness more, but quickly to me felt more like people trying to enforce labels on a group defined by rejecting them.

Also unrelated, but TPM really need to sort there shit for the sake of us all, as much as I've found Hipkin's stances on them to be fucking awful, I understand looking at their current state not giving him confidence.
December 14, 2025 at 12:49 AM
I don't even think Hipkins wants to after 2017-2020, Winston and Shane were bad enough before this government. Also the fact that the 2017-2020 one managed to work as well as it did still shocks me to this day.
December 14, 2025 at 12:47 AM
I know there is people in Labour who maybe are more reserve in promises, but do have that underlying aspirational goal, but Hipkins either thinks they're wrong, or has been lead to or lead himself to think it is politically dangerous to publicly be.
December 13, 2025 at 10:19 PM
I am again finding myself not that angry at policy cause... what is the policy? But he says this in the most uninspiring way possible, he could say that Labour wants to be focused on foundational achievable change for a larger aspiration, instead it is just that we can't have nice things.

There is no reason customs should need this kind of tool to begin with, the purpose of Auror is so far from any need in customs.

Hit piece 100%, after the food stuff this is incredibly sus
December 9, 2025 at 7:26 PM
My problem is not the idea, but that he never seems to then say what might be retained. I understand not throwing out everything, but without it, it is just surrender. There will be stability too if you have these said clearly, because people know what will come if the government changes.
December 8, 2025 at 9:42 PM
A small part of me wants Bishop to roll Luxon just so I can call this period of NZ politics the "Three Chris's Period".
December 8, 2025 at 7:28 PM
The goal should be to get people who would not vote motivated to vote against this coalition of fascists, the Greens (or TPM) are not going to get into government just with left leaning voters going between them and Labour.
December 8, 2025 at 7:26 PM
As someone who doesn't get a summer time off (tbh I don't actually mind, work is more chill in summer often but principle) absolutely fuck off Luxon. Even on an economic basis this is fucking stupid, people in summer use that time on holiday to spend in ways that go a long way economy wise.
