I'm most of the way thru the 3rd Space Sheriff series (Shaider) & they just keep getting better. His partner Annie has lived up to her legend. The plots are bonkers. The villains are fascinating. Casting a man to play Priestess Po was a genius move.

Had to get the remains of a broken tooth removed today. I was shocked at how easy & almost painless the extraction was. Now I'm feeling a dull pain. Tomorrow I'll try eating again.

The BD of Nobody's Boy Remi arrived today. It's a late 70s anime tearjerker directed by Dezaki Osamu & based on a book. I thought they were joking about the 3D, but no. It uses the Pulfrich effect, which I'd never heard of. That explains the multi-plane panning.

Watched GQuuuuuuX #2 Friday. Fascinating how one little difference (Char replacing Gene) changes so much. OTOH, the Fed's still win at Solomon. Did Char disappear in an Axis Shock? I assume Amuro died, possibly in the Guncannon. What happened to Sayla & Lallah?

Adulting in progress. New phone in mail (to replace old phone showing many signs of extreme age). EZPass in mail (just in case I need to go south). 1st shingles shot done (& I'm feeling it today). Still need a plan for end of Win 10.

Just saw Gundam GQuuuuuuX (ジークアクス) #1. Liked the story. Like seeing Challia Bull again. Not a fan of the chara/mech designs or the songs. I see others noticed the ジーク in the title is the same spelling as “Sieg” in “Sieg Zeon”. There're fan theories re: the 6 (silent) u’s in the English spelling.

In a break from current events, I just watched Macross: DYRL in 4K! I feel like I've finally seen this flick properly. All the details! I don't think I ever noticed the cars driving upside-down. Misa's lyrics were even legible.
