Postpartum: C-sections are no joke. I’m just 2.5 weeks from surgery and it’s been a rollercoaster. Some days I have no pain and other days the burning (nerves are growing back) and stabbing pains in the incision are crippling #FirstTimeMom #BlackMoms

Pregnancy: I occasionally got acne and thought my face was breaking out cause it was constantly itchy, red, and hot. I found out it was eczema. Pregnancy cause me to have eczema flare ups on my face. Eucerin cream cleared it up. #FirstTimeMom #BlackMom

Pregnancy: The heartburn is no joke. During my last few weeks of pregnancy, the heartburn would wake me up out of my sleep. I was already take Pepcaid morning and night to prevent heartburn. The heartburn left me coughing, gagging, and even more insomnia #FirstTimeMom #BlackMom

Postpartum: There is so much swelling after pregnancy. I was induced. Labored for a day and a half and then made the decision with my doc to have a C-section. The day after my c-section my legs and feet was super swollen. You retain so much fluid after pregnancy #FirstTimeMom #BlackMom

When I scheduled my first appointment after getting a positive pregnancy test, the office literally would not see new until I was 8 weeks. I had no idea I had to wait soooo long to get a doctor to confirm my pregnancy #FirstTimeMom #BlackMom
