My grandmother admitted today that voting for Trump was a mistake. She said she didn’t think he was going to be “this bad.” And I wonder what about him ever let on he would be the least bit good??

I saw this message today and it resonated with me: “DEI and merit are not mutually exclusive. It’s a false and racist trope.”

Here is the VP calling a citizen “dummy.” We are officially in the redneck trailer park era of US politics and administration. You can take the man out of the trailer park but…

This is so scary. What’s even scarier? No one seems to know what to do or combat presidency that is like none other.

When people say voting doesn’t matter. And who cares who’s in office. This is a screenshot of the gulf now where we see geography being re-written on the whim of one man. None of this is trivial. All votes matter.

Question: What is the US going to look and be like after Trump’s 4 year term?

Rap is for the culture & usually misunderstood. The undercurrent of anger, violence and dissonance has a villain origin story that has to be appreciated for its relevance, depth and poetic lyricism. While all won’t get it & many will, I find myself protective of this genre that I love & confuses me.

Hmm. I think we can put this to rest now. Yes, Kendrick’s diss track was fire and the most successful diss track of all time. But. Drake is a stellar artist too and this pile-on of bashing of him (that is extremely easy to do online) needs to come to an end now. It’s getting tired.

Looking at Gaza now, I am hard pressed to believe there wasn’t a Trump/Netanyahu agreement re what to do with the land post the genocide. There is nothing for Palestinians to come back to. Convenient to have “friends” destroy a place so their “friends” can capitalise on the destruction. Despicable.
“This area has turned as scary as haunted woods.”

Forcibly displaced Palestinians returning to northern Gaza have found once-bustling cities reduced to toxic wastelands, according to residents and aid agencies.

I continue to be upset that RBG did not willingly step down when Obama was in office. That was the domino effect for where we are now.

President Donald Trump named three justices in his first term, establishing a conservative supermajority on the Supreme Court. And now, even without an imminent vacancy, Trump is positioned to push the court farther to the right.

This is the type of activity I hate. Just celebrate with fellow fans. Why destroy property and create dangerous situations? I’ll never get it.

This is not a surprise.

Should we let Trump cook? Meaning, will we see the pay off of his antics in the future. Short-term pain for long-term gain?

Did anybody really expect a different outcome for the Super Bowl? All people could talk about was the refs working for the Chiefs. No ref was going to touch a potentially bad call for KC. Plus Mahomes is young, the pressure and all the hate got to him. Although, at least Trump was rooting for them!

Booing Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl and cheering Trump is like George Orwell’s 1984 coming to life.
