Whilst it is positive to better centre Indigenous Knowledges in the IPCC AR7, they are not only "culture and heritage". TEK and IK are political, ecological, scientific, and cultural heritage. It should be better represented in all chapters and working groups, not sidelined to merely "culture".

Our entire project started with a cup of tea. Through storytelling, our coauthors share how braiding methodologies from Indigenous ways of knowing and social sciences helped us gather knowledge to inform inclusive research and polar bear management strategies.
