I want 13 justices for the 13 circuit courts & since it’s the only way to level the ridiculously uneven playing field, but at best if Dems flip ME, WI, PA & the 2 seats in NC, they’ll only have 52 seats & would need to nuke the filibuster if they can’t flip 8+ red state seats.

Everybody with this type of rhetoric wants to claim they voted Harris now. I honestly don't give a damn at this point.

What I care about is being realistic about the fight we are in right now and what's practical. Anybody opening their lips about donors doesn't get how we got here.

I just know you're not trying to teach me what we learned from civil rights? 🤨

Come down off the mountaintop and look around you. Which of these alt-Left grifters sprinkling DSA pixie dust do you think is a modern day MLK? 🤔

You're just spewing nonsense.
There's nothing that can be done to remove any justices & absent a trifecta with at least a 60-seat supermajority, there's no way to add justices.
The GOP didn't break any laws to get their 6-3 SCOTUS.
The voters handed it to them by not voting in 2014 & 2016.
December 7, 2025 at 9:09 PM
JFC do you have any idea how the government works?
We're stuck with a 6-3 SCOTUS because people didn't vote to keep Democrats in control of the Senate in 2014, then blew our last chance to have a Democratic POTUS fill the vacancy left by Scalia in 2016.
Why is this so hard to understand?

I want specifics. This rim job you're doing on the "what ifs" is migraine inducing.

What specific laws should be ignore, and how would that turn out well?

SCOTUS donors? They're appointed for life. Do you even live here or are you some foreign anarchist just trying to stir up 💩?

You literally sound insane. How is subverting the law a good thing - because that's what you're saying. And which laws, exactly, do you think are realistic to ignore when we're in the minority and SCOTUS is corrupt.

People that smoke unicorn make my ass hurt.

The GOP didn't break any laws to get their 6-3 SCOTUS.
They controlled the Senate & refused to grant Garland a hearing & rammed Barrett's confirmation through the Senate while early voting was underway.
We begged the electorate to consider the SCOTUS in 2016 & they ignored us, just like in 2024.
🙄🙄🙄

There’s nothing that can be done. Period.
We could’ve had a liberal SCOTUS had people voted in the 2014 midterms to keep the Democrats in control of the Senate or if they elected HRC in 2016.
This is what happens when voters don’t use their heads & either refuse to vote or vote 3rd Party.
December 7, 2025 at 8:08 PM
There are no other strategies.
The conservatives don’t respect stare decicis & have been the only SCOTUS in history to take rights away from Americans.
Soon they’ll rehear Louisiana v. Callais & gut the VRA to legalize racial gerrymandering, giving the GOP 19+ seats & a permanent House majority.
December 7, 2025 at 7:59 PM
Voters had the chance to ensure we’d have a liberal majority SCOTUS in 2016 & blew it & now Thomas & Alito can retire leaving the court 6-3 for decades.
Unless Dems flip Senate seats in ME, the other 4 battleground state seats & 8+ in red states without losing any, we’re stuck with what we have.
December 7, 2025 at 7:54 PM
It doesn't matter how corrupt they are.
Without a trifecta & 67 Senate seats, there isn't a chance in hell that any justice will be convicted if they're impeached, especially if doing so will allow the Democrats to remove a GOP-appointed justice & replace them with a liberal.
Voters blew it in 2016.
December 7, 2025 at 7:43 PM
They decide what cases they want to hear & legislate from the bench.
Nothing will disrupt their power or prevent them from ruling how the GOP wants in every single case they hear & the only way we'll ever have a normal SCOTUS in our lifetimes is if at least 4 seats are added by a Democratic POTUS.
December 7, 2025 at 7:32 PM
There’s nothing that can be done about the SCOTUS unless Democrats win a trifecta with a Senate supermajority willing to expand the court, but even if they flip ME, WI, PA & both seats in NC without losing any seats in MI, WI, AZ, NV, PA, GA & NH, they’ll only have a 52-48 majority.
December 7, 2025 at 6:51 PM
We lost our shot at a liberal SCOTUS & may be stuck with a 6-3 majority for decades now that Thomas & Alito can retire.
It may be impossible to reverse the damage Trump caused but we need to flip the House & at least ME & NC in 2026 & win the presidency, keep the House & flip the Senate in 2028.

Democrats had a wave election in 2018, kept the House, won the presidency & flipped the Senate in 2020 & had the best midterm performance for the party in power since 2002, winning most of the swing state races & only losing a few House seats unlike both parties in 2018, 2010, 2006 & 1994.

After the 6-3 SCOTUS overturned Roe v. Wade, the Democrats passed legislation at the state-level & added amendments to their state constitutions to guarantee women’s reproductive rights while the GOP banned abortion with no exceptions for rape or incest which have also led to multiple deaths.

The last 2 times Democrats had trifectas they passed the ACA, ARP & IRA & the 111th & 117th Congresses were the most productive in decades.
Even with a slim House majority & a 50-50 Senate, the Democrats were also able to get numerous pieces of bipartisan legislation passed including:

The GOP had a trifecta during Trump’s 1st 2 years & for the past 11 months & passed no meaningful legislation, had the 2 longest government shutdowns in history & passed reconciliation bills that disproportionately benefit the wealthy while slashing funding for programs that benefit Americans.

The 2 parties couldn’t possibly be more different, which should be obvious from the reconciliation bills they passed along party lines during the 115th, 117th & 119th Congresses & what legislation was passed at the state-level after Dobbs & how the GOP’s laws turn women into 2nd class citizens.

Some MAGA Republicans may turn against Trump if they suffer enough, but the beliefs that the far left spreads about the Democrats, such as them being the same as the GOP, not doing anything when they’re in power & that they’re not putting up a fight against the Trump alienates potential voters.
