ends the systemic exploitation via profits and dividends. i am sorry to say to soc-dems, this thing is never going to happen. nobody with any real economic power wants this.
December 23, 2025 at 6:33 PM
to the bourgeois this is the same thing as a communist revolution. either they have private property or they don't. to them, if you say "hey i want to take just a little bit of your money to end poverty" it's the same thing as "sieze the means of production" the latter is preferable because it

It's K-shaped. it's not much more complicated than that

Q3 beat expectations because richer households (whose wealth depends on asset prices going up) spent more money because (drum roll) asset prices went up. the argument that the economy is doing well because 4% is idiotic. the lower income bracket is going to continue feeling inflation

adressed. the system cannot continue. thing will continue to get more unaffordable, tarrifs will destroy the petit bourgeois class, and exploitation will increase. you can have 10% gdp growth in these parameters. it doesn't matter. the economy still sucks, stancilites be damned
December 23, 2025 at 3:58 PM
and destruction of purchasing power because of how assets are distributed. nothing is affordable. measure days of work / rent of a month. housing remains unnaffordable, along with childcare. income growth for lower brackets is not helping. people will continue to feel pain unless affordability is

let's say we take out the data centers from the data and the GDP still went up. it doesn't matter when housing and childcare are unaffordable. macroecons measure the economy by how well assets owners are doing. as long as peoppe cannot cover the basics it literally doesn't matter how well the GDP is
December 23, 2025 at 3:43 PM
in a sense, they're not wrong. GDP did go up. the thing is, due to how assets are distributed, GDP going up makes life worse for everyone but the asset owners. there is a real reason why UMICH sentiment is tanking below volker shock levels. it's the K shaped economy!
December 23, 2025 at 3:37 PM
(stancilites will never address the k shaped economy because they're capitalists themselves?)
December 23, 2025 at 3:34 PM
it's not a vibecession. it's a K shaped economy. asset owners will do well. consumer sentitment breaks lower records because most people aren't asset owners. GDP going up will mean life gets worse in the future.

i mean in the sense that they use religion to opress sexual and gender minorities yes that
December 23, 2025 at 1:22 PM
supressing these people's "right" to religious opression is the correct thing to do in any socialist state
