Adorable

He is very friendly and gentle, even when I have visitors. But still entitled like any cat.

I always had dogs before. I free fed them high quality dog food and they were never overweight. I’ve learned it isn’t the same with Max.

He was on a diet at the shelter and I’m still working on it. It is a learning process for me but I want him healthy and long lived

He is chonky. He’s big for his size but I’m definitely working to get him slimmer.

I’m working hard on the weight. It is hard to say no when he is affectionately bossy about food but I know it is a greater love to help him have a long healthy life.

In April I adopted this wonderful Cat I named Max from my local shelter. I never was a cat person until my later middle age but I am now. He’s done so much for me as I continue to work through emotional trauma and depression, and I work hard to ensure I can give him the best life I can.
