When the entire point of the post is conveyed through the main post text and the images are just for supplemental vibes, yeah alt text is unnecessary. When the point of the post is "look at this cool thing" and then an image, yeah in that case alt text is more needed.

Maybe if George had stayed on he'd have run it on starwars dot com, either ad or subscription supported. Pioneered digital cinema and then pioneered streaming television haha.
