Really don’t get the rush to criticise/ defend Kai Havertz. He can be both a very good player (which he is) and not the answer to Arsenal’s obvious need for a no9. It is not an either or. Arsenal need a centre-forward.

Wrexham are to sign Hull City winger Ryan Longman for £500,000. The League One club have out-bid Championship Oxford United who had hoped to sign him and were close to agreeing a deal. Just shows how much money Wrexham are spending! More transfer news on www.telegraph.co.uk/football/

All the so-called ‘big teams’ cannot complain about injuries given that brilliant performance by Bournemouth to beat Newcastle Utd away 4-1. They only had 11 experienced players!
