Second best month of the year in terms of sales. Adventure games book is now my best selling print book. Will need to see if it can be the best selling overall in the next year. No book releases this year.

3rd best year for sales (out of 6). Still a distant third though. KENP. had a late surge, but only 5th best year, so far. No chance of beating 2020 in sales, but have a good chance of finishing strong if things go well. #author #writer #indiegames #indiedev #gamedev #running

Sales Report - July.
Pretty slow sales this month, bit disappointing but what can you do eh, probably all too hot for people to read books. Sales flatlined, whilst an upturn in KENP. Doesn't look like this is going to be a best sales year.

I released my first video games magazine article since 2007 (where did the time go), and the 6 page article appeared in #AmigaAddict - all about amiga war-games.

My new book Creating Adventure Video Games sold ok.

US biggest market for sales.
KENP sales 2nd best year.

KENP read is doing better than 21, 22 and 23, but I was hoping for better than 2020, but again, late release has probably preventing it beating 2020. I would say that Make Amazing Games had a good KENP in its second year, so not sure it would have done better. UK went top for KENP, usually its USA.

Sales for books. This is the second best year of book sales, which isn't bad considering our book released way later than expected. It would have had longer to make an impact. Though to be honest I think that Make Amazing Games would still have outsold Creating Adventure Video Games #book. #games

So after the first attempt at amazon ad's gave me nothing but 1700 impressions, I decided to allow the prices to go up, but limited it to a lowly $12 a day. So far over the last week I've spent $11.57 and had 7 clickthroughs on 4336 impressions but 0 extra sales. All pretty pointless.

Sales update October. Sales halved in October. With most sales coming from the USA. Whilst KDP increased slightly over launch. Best countries being Brazil, Canada and US. Sales continue to be 2nd best year (out of 5), which isn't bad for the late release. Revenue drop off was bigger though.

As we head to the end of the month and first month sales, I can talk a little about Creating Adventure Games Book Sales. Currently in terms of month sales, it's the most in terms of revenue in one month. It currently stands as my second best selling self published book in terms of revenue.
