They have also devalued AAA - why pay full price for a game that will likely hit the sub within 12 months?

I’d say that trend increasing has played a part in this new structure.

As predicted, the service has devalued individual titles in the hope they might grab an insurmountable market share.

30 bucks a month lets you buy 1-2 indie games, support an independent games media outlet of your choice, and the majority of your money will go to a human being who worked hard to make something cool

I have had an active game pass subscription since the service launched, but this will mark the end for me.

The price is going up, and the value is DRASTICALLY going down.

We have been predicting they’d do this eventually, guess the time has come.
