Watching a video of an Australian gent reviewing some old tech called the RCA Studio II and I think I've found the word they put the most mustard* on.

Simply piss into one of our brand new machines and some lucky stranger will receive a unique can of Coke distilled from your essence. Sure, we reverse-engineered the whole putting names on soda cans thing but we're pretty proud of what we've come up with. Try a can of Steve or Linda Zero today.

The regime's desire for authoritarianism is bottomless, but their capacity is not. Not even close.

They rely on bluster and memes to make up the difference. The threat is real, but less powerful than they say.

Freedom-loving Americans outnumber them by a lot. Communities can resist. Like this one:

This video of Chicagoans intervening to save a man from being abducted off the streets by ICE is making the rounds on Instagram.

Community action works.

Collectors today call this "the coin that killed Caesar."

Why?

His portrait is surrounded by he words "Dictator for Life." the coin celebrates the moment Julius Caesar Haines absolute control of Rome. This enflamed those who had lost power and triggered a dangerous turn of events: Caesar was assassinated within months.

He's just a goofy lil Lord Fauntleroy who loves getting push notifications about what his teen son jerks off to.

SCOOP: PA prosecutors were alerted to possible voting irregularities by one of MAGA's leading voices. A long paper trail shows Jack Posobiec has been living in Maryland but voting using his parent's address in Pennsylvania for years. Me with @marisakabas.bsky.social

A long paper trail shows that Jack Posobiec casts a ballot in one state and lives in another.

My go-to for song "parodies" on the go used to just be inserting "meow meow" in place of the original lyrics, but as I get older and wiser I find that "pee pee poo poo" are much more satisfying placeholders.

My next book is another pop culture oral history, but about one specific thing - an 80s comedy film I adore. Much as I loved writing about 60 different sketch shows (and I loved writing that book) it's been fascinating and really fucking difficult digging into the minutiae of just one thing.

This is fun, and Dan, Ari, Jen, and I worked really hard to make this thing happen in a VERY short amount of time. 32 years of work condensed into two 9-foot-long cases and I couldn't be prouder.

Also, the LP in there is going to get made. Hopefully after we release our next real album on vinyl.

I hosted the Comedy on Vinyl podcast for just over a decade and while it took six years for #PresentingDickDavy to happen I'm so proud of how it looks and sounds and feels.

Ironically enough, I'm giving away most of my comedy vinyl soon, but for a fun reason. More on that soon.

Autoesoteric Asphyxiation is being way too pleased with yourself for making an obscure reference, such that you are winded from laughing.

This is not a jerk off thing.

How is no one tired of that bald fuck who performed in Riyadh yet? Is it cause he "tells it like it is," as though that means something? Also, calling his Masshole-ing around on every show, including the one in space, "acting," is a fucking stretch.

If these assholes could eliminate the republic *just to say they did it* they would, because they feel and know deep down that they are inconsequential. They are fragile, weak, and impulsive; they should've gotten into comedy.
