LOL yes a favorite genre of mine is we are not an established place of business that people know about but we also dont have a website or any information about us anywhere on the internet except for our instagram that we have not updated in 7 months

this $9 bagel place is still open but this is the general vibe of places that don’t survive and then blame the community

sometimes (often) a place fails because it has delusional owners and sucks

i'm never happy when a small business closes but i feel like i've been going crazy the last few years seeing the closure of places with odd business strategies, weird hours, horrible food, horrible prices, weird owners, terrible design, etc fail to make it and then have people blame "crime" or woke

don’t tempt me with a good time

it's like discord but for professionals (LOL!!!)

as an example i just listened to the Channels podcast (which is good) where some dude said AI will kill all media and then proceeded to attempt to explain his startup that he has raised $13 million for, but he simply could not explain what it is or what it does under extremely light pressure. idiot

some smart thoughts here I think. I’ve personally tried to lean into physical media and local businesses as much as I can
