WEREWOLF BY NIGHT: THE HOWLING TOME is out in stores this week! This is my first big completed Marvel collection and the closest I’ll ever get to an omnibus. It collects issues 1-10, along with the Blood Hunt one-shot, Crypt of Shadows, and Blood Moon Rise.

Just letting you all know I’m still on sabbatical to support my son’s new hobby.

As a Marvel trading card collector, I got a little teary-eyed when I found out that Solarus, my Marvel creation with artist Luigi Zagaria from The Sentry: Legacy, has her own rookie card in this year’s Topps Chrome Marvel set. So proud of her.

Rough card sketch of Dani Moonstar.

Jubilee sketch card.
Another Marvel fave I got to draw at the start of my time in the House of Ideas. Apropos to illustrate her again on this Marvel Beginnings sketch card.
Feels so good to get back into traditional art mediums.

Multiple Man sketch card.
He was the character I featured in my two-page Choose-Your-Dupe’s-Path comic sample that got me hired by Marvel. And he was my first Marvel character I worked on, in X-Corp issue 3. Only fitting to sketch him on an Upper Deck Marvel Beginnings sketch card.

Werewolf By Night sketch card 🐺🩸
Using acrylic markers and pens, I gave my first sketch card from last year a makeover; channeling the Brothers Hildebrandt for a more dramatic look.

I found my furry friend in the wild.

Well, everyone. I did it.

Elsa Bloodstone test run.
Only have the one Marvel Masterpieces blank card. Should I commit?
December 7, 2025 at 4:14 AM
Is this card worth anything??
Took another stab at a sketch card, this time using my partner’s Ohuhu marker set. I’m pretty happy with the results that it’s now my favourite card in my collection.

My comics recap for 2025. There’s been lots of ups and lots of downs. But I can tell my 10 year old self: “Hey, you got to work on an X-Men, an Amazing Spider-Man, your own Avengers, and have people in Tokyo Disney read your comic.” Not sure what’s next in 2026. Maybe I’ll learn the devil’s sticks.
December 5, 2025 at 7:30 PM
I finished a 16-page comic sample that I wrote, drew, colored, and lettered for a pitch.
Comic gods, please let it find a home!

Another gem from my old sketchbooks. Morbius and a cat?
December 1, 2025 at 11:43 PM
I was going through my piles of old sketchbooks in the storage locker and found these gems from a decade ago.

When one of your comic heroes illustrates a cover for a comic you wrote.
I had to snag this variant cover by Kevin Eastman for Undead Iron Fist issue 3! I grew up as a Turtles fan, so to have this variant in my hands is still blowing my mind.
