Liverpool also started 5-0-0 though, and while they looked shaky in some of those wins, they were winning. The bottom has fallen out in remarkable fashion. They look utterly lost. Too much season left not to hope they get it together and finish top four, but boy do they ever need to get it together.

I think this has been worse than Man United after Ferguson so far, but yeah, I had forgotten how bad Chelsea was that year, perhaps because they bounced back and won the League again the following season. I do think that August-November was somehow even worse than Liverpool has been.

When I was 7, I was sent by my parents to run interference on my teenage sister and her boyfriend, who were in the den and going to watch a movie. My parents didn't realize they were sending their 7-year-old into seeing Poltergeist at WAY too young an age. Nightmares for weeks. That movie kicks ass.

Their chocolate chip cookies are legit too. Years ago my then girlfriend/now wife was embarrassed that I was bringing them to a party. Then someone else had brought fancier cookies, but everyone agreed Jewel's were better.

He is by far the best part of the prequels. He deserved to be surrounded by better movies. He gave me some hope for the Obi-Wan TV series, but that ended up being as pointless as I should have expected, mostly because it decided to include not only Luke, but inexplicably both Vader and Leia. Christ.

Gattaca is great, and I don't see it referenced enough.

This feels like a plan designed to make no one very happy. I don’t know what the best way to build a new league is, but this doesn’t seem to be it. I understand the logistical advantages to having teams in one place, but it feels like choosing a region and having teams in their city would be better.

And that fans in and near Springfield will flock to games even though the teams are not supposed to represent them, and will soon leave if things go as planned?

Is the idea of naming the four teams after four coastal cities but having them play all their games in Springfield supposed to be that fans from those four cities will buy-in anyway, and begin to generate merchandise revenue and TV ratings, before the teams are eventually based in those four cities?

Because I teach 4th graders, my students will be holding on to it long after teenagers have decided it's not funny anymore. I'll still be living with it a year from now, maybe years from now.

I thought we‘d agreed not to post pictures of our night out. If my wife sees those there will be hell to pay.
