Storage needs to be faster like hdds to ssds and nvmes on pc, old flash memory is slow. 256gb of onboard should be fine for a while. Mario Kart is only 20gb but if games push 4k assets they'll take up more.
The scanning of a qr code thing might be config, i only had to do it to set some things up.
