We use the mineral spirits on our polymer plate setup but send all the rags/towels out. you need a vent. Oil or spray cleaner has worked

and that thread really gets at what we hear from professional dev "CET" folks over and over again: let's discuss how to use X in Y, or the "ethical" use of X in Y, and never "here are the rites of exorcism" like it's a position that can't exist

Anyway the phrasing above I've encountered so, so much. Pedagogy isn't going to save us, "back to paper!" approaches aren't going to save us (any more than "back to basics!" did in the 80s!), "process" isn't going to save us.

Automating response in the gen ed years certainly doesn't make skipping right to the majors courses seem *less* desirable

Being taught to write *for* the Keystones, or even being colonized by the manuscript style. But now, I see student writing as conforming to the one style they know is correct, and the one source they are sure is smarter than they are....
