Wasn't she also the world's best selling poet at one point or something silly like that?

For what it's worth, I saw her perform in a half-empty Webster Hall in 1995. Her album had just come out, and it was just her and a guitar. She was amazing.

Look, I appreciate this. TV needs more of this. Let’s have fun again. Seriously things are so bad in the industry and everywhere. Let’s all turn on stuff at night together and go “that was insane” and then surprise there are 20 more episodes and the characters don’t remember being in orbit.

The story behind part one of the two-part classic story "Whatever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow?" which bid farewell and closed the door to the Earth-One Superman.

40 years later and I still get emotional thinking about the little moments in the story that made Superman the first and the best.
