I hate it when English subtitles in Netflix also convert measurements to Imperial units, sure my country is odd in mixing Metric and Imperial based on the context, but I don't like seeing really specifically odd numbers when translated from another language

According to YouTube Music my most listened to was: Lorna Shore, Swallow the Sun, Harakiri for the Sky, Rivers of Nihil and Behemoth

I think every summer there should be reenactments of Caligula's War against Neptune. Get dressed up as Roman legionnaires, go to a public beach and start stabbing the water. Maybe picking up some trash while they're at it.

I got misgendered twice today when travelling, being called 'maam' one of those times, though it doesn't bother me and I don't bother to correct anyone either

It used to be when I needed change for laundry, I wouldn't have to worry about it because I got a bunch of change from going to bars that were cash only.

A reminder that Canadian Thanksgiving has nothing to do with some Italian asshole or pilgrims and is just a celebration of the harvest

Looks like I'm spending Valentine's Day with Papa Perpetua V, like I'm fully going to be with the clergy at Rogers Arena

I hope the Hailidao in Vancouver is free of urine. Who the fuck thinks pissing in restaurant food is funny?

I've seen At The Gates a few times and fondly remember their Slaughter of the Soul album. RIP Tomas Lindberg.

In Peacemaker, Adrian pointed out one detail I always look for when someone on TV shows uses the bathroom. Washy washy or someone might get Hepatitis A

RIP Ozzy Osbourne, the last time I saw him was back in 2016 for Black Sabbath's The End Tour at Rogers Arena. He was there with Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler

South of Midnight is a good short-term, low-commitment game on X-Box Game Pass. I liked it's southern gothic setting and stop-motion animation like style, and it's from the same studio as We Happy Few.

I've been playing Avowed a lot recently, in the 4th act now. Plays like Outer Worlds and Skyrim combined together. The later felt a little behind technologically at the time it was released. But I definitely like both of the Pillars of Eternity games, and it makes Outer Worlds 2 look promising.

I'm satisfied with how the election turned out, I'm glad that Mark Carney and the Liberals won the election. Big congratulations to Bruce Fanjoy for keeping Trump's little peepee from getting a seat, and a big thank you to Donald J Trump for doing a lot of the Liberal Party's campaigning for them.

Today's election, you either vote for Canada or vote for the Canadian allies of Trump. Either Red, Orange or Green depending on which riding you're in, or the party that has the same colours as the American flag in their logo.

Season 3 of Wheel of Time was definitely better than Season 2 of Rings of Power. Amazon should focus on WoT more than the other.

Every time there's a new Sleep Token song I'm curious to find out if it's more of a R&B or Prog Metal song. And then I go back to listening to something like Deafheaven or Arch Enemy or Behemoth after that.
