I really like how I can share in your creativity, knowledge, passions, humour, achievements and at times, your struggles.

I use you shamelessly to inspire intrigue and wonder within me and my children. You are our window to a wider world. Thank you.
I love this album! Most songs on this album were my favourite at one time or another.

I owned all three of these albums.

This is so close to Zabulon, Head of The Day Watch, which I am reading again.
Was this a common name once upon a time?

December 2025 and our family is holidaying in Norway. We are slowly floating along a fjord away from Flåm listening to the history of the area. “..when a bear attacked the family. Their newly shod horse attacked, allowing the family to barricade inside. The morning found the bear dead - horse okay.”

Quicksilver and Fourth Wing get down to business pretty quickly. I loved some of the magics in Quicksilver - it was new magics to me. Loved the Dragons of Fourth Wing which are also new to me. Both stories were great Quicksilver was raunchier faster & more often. 4Wing slow burn to BANG! Both great

Today I finished: The Priory of The Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon.
This story’s main characters are strong intelligent females with believable flaws and doubts. There are same sex love interests, greed, pirates, dragons, magic stones, religious conflicts, diplomacy & death.

It was magnificent.

I am curious how people from other non-US countries view these.

Nearly all of the ones I see are like an insult thrown across a room designed to offend or incite.

How does this ever make the person posting feel better or that things will get better by posting them?

It’s hard to have empathy with a meme but maybe because I am so far removed…

I just looked up dingus, in case it was a ‘lost in translation’ thing. I would have defined it; mildly foolish idiot. Dictionary has it as a substitute for forgotten name of a small item. Think: Gadget or Doodad.
I have never used this context before. Ever.
Don’t I feel like a right Doodad.

We have this little guy living with us in Brisbane, Australia. Unfortunately he keeps seeing himself in the window and gets a little excited.
