My favourite old game I played this year is Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals.

You don't need to have played the first one, as this game takes place earlier in the timeline, and I can't recommend it strongly enough.

Fun coincidence. I just got Dreamcast emulation working, and just last night, I played Sega Rally 2 for the first time. I'm no good at it, but what a cool game.
