I don't enjoy any of the things I liked in comics or TV series because I keep finding out the creators, writers, actors, etc, are pro-genocidal propagandists. The last 2 yrs have been an eye-opener, but maybe the historians knew about it already.

Aww man this art style and quirky animation style is something I love & want to play. But the content is why I'm going to give it a pass. I really appreciate the developer giving a heads up about the narrative being fatphobic/pro-dieting, it's not my cup of tea. I wish them best of luck though!

Ooo that looks like a wonderful experience!! I was just discussing this with a friend today that we have a bad habit of not allowing ourselves to rest after weeks of intensive work. So, this sounds like a lovely way to decompress/de-stress!

Call it what it is - "I was unhappy with myself", "I don't fit my own visual ideals" that gives much more information about your goals & is more respectable compared to generalizing or attaching some form of moral superiority to thinness/fitness.

Ultimately, when people with power say "violence is unacceptable" - they mean "violence against us is unacceptable", nothing more, nothing less. It foregoes that violence for those with power tends to come from greed, and violence against them tends to come from need.
