SCOTUS used the major questions doctrine to shoot down numerous Obama and Biden initiatives ( including student loan forgiveness) - if they don’t rule that the tariffs are legally suspect also then they will have proven to be the most corrupt court in history

I hadn’t seen this. Kirk, the moderate free speech guy who did politics the right way per some liberals (!), called for Biden to be executed.

Meanwhile Joe Biden put out a very strong statement condemning Kirk’s killing.

Both sides!

Goodell decides to have a moment of silence for Kirk at the GB game to pander to a fan base w/ total disregard to the 53% of NFL players who are Black- in that tribute they should have shown all the soundbites of when Kirk said MLK was a”horrible guy”and that Black women are all DEI hires,etc

In his own words, Kirk's death was a "rational" choice for a free society to make. We should hold him to his own standard.

In 2023, Kirk famously said annual gun deaths are a “rational” price for our society to pay in exchange for its liberties. “We should not have a utopian view [of gun violence],” he said. “We will never live in a society when you have an armed citizenry and you won’t have a single gun death. That is nonsense. That’s drivel. But I think it’s worth it. I think it’s worth it to have the cost of, unfortunately, some gun deaths every single year so that we can have the Second Amendment to protect our other God-given rights. That is a prudent deal. It is rational.”

The murder of Charlie Kirk was criminal, wrong, and should be condemned.

And Charlie Kirk was a horrible, hateful man who spent his life radicalizing young people to embrace their worst demons by targeting women, people of color, immigrants, and the marginalized.

I refuse to sanitize him.
