Yep same setting as all of my other characters! I am not super familiar with the references you mentioned but Victoria's outfit was inspired by Olivier Mira Armstrong from Fullmetal Alchemist LOL

Finally did something with this post! Will probably draw Victoria again at some point but idk if I'll draw more stuff with both of them yet. This was a fun exercise though!

Saw a twitter thread talking about a lack of gender-swapped "grumpy old man adopts kid" trope in media. I thought about introducing a new kid OC and giving the trope to Paige but I think it doesn't really work with her. LOL. Maybe I'll give it to a new character instead.

Yep I've kinda done that with some of my characters! But for these new ones I'm just going with the flow, trying to look for ones that "sound cool" or ones that I think fit their physical appearance LOL thank you though!

Yeah I always go to Fantasy Name Generator as well! It still takes me a long time to decide on a name though 😆

Sometimes when I don't know what to draw I just take some scrapped designs from my existing OCs and turn them into a completely new character, usually a close relative of that character. So yeah this was almost Daisy except for the baker/chef outfit lol 👩🍳
