On a little sad-funny note, when I got hysterectomy last year, the health personnel kept "warning" me of the (super tiny) tummy scars you get. (And they really _are_ tiny).
Me, a person full of self harm scars: Oh, well, I... don't mind that, lol.

I had a good stint in my 20's where I managed to steer clear for a while but my 30's really has been all about revisiting my teens in every sense of the phrase

Maybe one day I'll try to properly explain my side of it. But I'm just one person with one angle. People have different angles. I hurt myself because I hate myself and feel unlovable/undeserving. Since I'm too chicken shit to end my life, I instead damage my body as a dumb placeholder.

Isn't it fucked up that we live in a world with literal dictators and yet I do self harm cos I think I suck monkey ass? Lol. Make it make sense.

Anyway, self harm is still super stigmatized and misunderstood so I talk openly about it.
