Apparently it's a double-issue of poor writing *plus* a botched localization? But... either way, not great

It's crazy because people thought it was them that wrote Samus/etc like that but... Nope
Turns out it wasn't their fault

(They were also apparently against the awful sideways Wiimote control scheme and got overruled there too? 🫠)

Back on release, yeah 😅

I... don't think it's on my list this time though lol

Maybe there's some crazy fan mod for it by now or something though now that I think about it? A few of the gameplay ideas (or at least the Team Ninja finisher animations) were fun at least 💀
