maybe look into some smoothstep

the tail turns harshly at the right and left most point, not to mention it's speed is very constant all across its animation (something that isnt desired when mimicking tails)

voxels are a great way to learn about how BAD shit is at rendering, and just how much effort you gotta put in just not to get half a frame even if your scene is small

also, unless i set my shader to skew out rays out the wazo, the image is almost always grainy. which sucks cause i also like my pc not to combust
