Yup, I think that's what sent me down the rabbit hole

That was fucking wild. It's like watching it have a stroke.

Some of the student paints I have are the massive tubes that there's no way I could use up in several lifetimes if I were to stick to using them to paint minis.

I have a handful of tubes that I've been using for weathering purposes since the late 80s. I have yet to run out of paint in any of them.

Interestingly, one of the things that has always kept me from trying this out as an experiment is that oil paints (good ones, anyway) seem crazy expensive. That is until you consider how long those tubes will last. I have also been collecting a nice horde of student cast-off paints.
