They saw the ratings and the popularity of the NHL's 4 Nations Tournament, and the NBA Cup. Manfred really thinks he can shoehorn something like that into a 162 game MLB season. Uhh, there's a lockout coming in 11 months, try focusing on the basics of that, first.

Who the hell cares how much she hated him? I probably feel the same way! What matters is the murder that occurred at the hands of the truly evil ICE agent. As far as I know, we still have freedom of speech and thought, where we can think whatever we want about another.

Even if they were to have enough votes to pass this, it would die in the house. If it were to somehow pass the house, the TIC (Traitor-In-Chief) would veto it.

This is almost opposite to how the finances in Major League Baseball work. In MLB, rich owners have some form of penalties for overspending (but some teams don't seem to care about these penalties). (1/2)
