Basically, if I've filled in the blanks correctly (which I won't have but let me have this), Pokopia marks an apocalyptic event in the GOverse. This leads Arceus to choose Lucas/Dawn to go back in time and change history, causing the 3DSverse versions of events to happen.

Re. the alt text, you're right on both counts. It is an unhelpful first result and Akira Himekawa is the pen name used by the Zelda manga author/artist duo.
