yup! S'why a lot of why you don't see folks saying it as a method. It becomes a 'don't let your dreams stay dreams' scenario- easily said by people privileged enough to be able to make it work.
The amount of sacrifice I have had to make to become just less reliant on art for money has been nuts.

Comfort in the fall time

I drew it all by hand (digitally). I do stuffl ike this a lot so it isn't as involved as it looks. It is uneven if you look closely, haha, but I like that because it makes it feel less robotic.
For the colours, yes! I selected each directional face for its own layer then cleaned it up after

I sketch the perspective guidelines when i doodle the layout. Then when i draw the thing I tighten the perspective grid i drew. It's just normal perspective but there is a progressive curve on all the lines to make it appear more dynamic
