Sounds like a better choice for hiking- I didn’t know north face made boots. My summer ones are the Salomon quest 4’s and I swear by them. I’m not sure if they would work for that though as we haven’t really much snow since I got them in Chicagoland.

Make sure to bring my wool socks too and possibly a pair with me to change at some point. I have hiking boots I used in the summer. Any suggestions on good insulated ones and brands? I’ll get some from rei and start breaking them in.

BK is so underrated!

I’m moving up to Alaska in the spring and am gonna look for an apartment in either Eagle River, Palmer or Anchorage. Do you have any suggestions? I felt like the people in either of those areas were fine except some of the religious ones in the matsu.
