Thats not how the Amiga chipset works though. A PC does this because it is not integrated tightly.. things like hard disk controllers, sound and graphics are just PCI devices, a generic high speed bus.
December 17, 2025 at 9:38 AM
its not like you can put high speed (for the time) bus signals through cables without issues.... besides, the A3000T was not a consumer product

Yeah looking at it the orientation of the banks of ram is wrong. You dont need to fit sockets to use those ram replacement modules though - I dont. I just solder them straight to the PCB

Their download link is a little jank - will fail by default on Chrome because it's from HTTP. TBH, i think that's stupid that Chrome enforces that!!

Could some ZX Spectrum "lower RAM replacement" modules work here?
December 15, 2025 at 6:04 PM

Same as many companies do with fines.. they weigh up the cost of the fine vs the savings they make, and the fine becomes a "fee".

Such fines need to be expressed in percentage of gross profit.
December 12, 2025 at 12:46 AM
maybe it needs more than 120V ;)
December 12, 2025 at 12:43 AM
