Quirks of not wanting to waste pop
Had a pound of honey butter still from THANKSGIVING. Decided to use it up in a brioche dough and made cinnamon buns this morning.
It was so much butter I was certain it was just going to melt in the oven. 😅 #ChefJay

Picking up extra work this winter doing odd jobs.
Have learned from years in design work not to suggest things to the client because they never like what i like, but I will encourage bold choices because we deserve to get real weird with our living spaces ❤️

Fished some broken tiles out of a trash pile to fill in some missing tile pieces in a unit. It won't be gorgeous but it'll work in a pinch ❤️

Working some more on these outie pipped prototypes. I need to reprint the sun version due to some slumping on some of the pips, but made good progress today on choosing paint colors and filling in the cavities with shiny resin. #MyArt

Had a desperate resin pour last night (which i don't think is going to work but hey that's experiments for you) and i dropped a bunch of extra resin into a dice mold with no plan.
Think i might do some three arrows inlay and make them socialist dice.

Planted parsley in my hydroponic thingy so i could have a SAD lamp that also helps me grow plants

Turns out just painting the pips with an acrylic marker is fine actually? And the flood fill works too. Gonna do one more iteration of adjusting the depths before i can hopefully start working on mass molds

Two gallon bags full of diced onions. I did have another bag of large onions but decided to use those up ad hoc 😭
These freeze beautifully and are easy to break apart so you can grab and go diced onion to cook with. #ChefJay
