Personally, I think Flavor of Love has legs

I think there's a level of absurdity to it that almost makes up for the terrible jokes.

I don't feel like there's much ambiguity in what I said. Ready Player One is a movie about nostalgia that doesn't actually examine the topic in any meaningful way. I know the book doesn't either, but when they got Spielberg to direct, I expected a little extra magic.

It got so much hate because it's got no substance. It's just a cynical cash grab playing on nostalgia but refusing to say or do anything with it.

I like how half the people in the replies want to argue that actually alcohol sucks and everyone in previous generations was lying about liking it. It's okay to just not like alcohol personally.

He's not complaining about it being French. The problem is the name is clunky and overly long when just Clair Obscur would've been a fine title.

This is exactly how I sell it to people, "This is the funniest person you know's favorite comedy." Practically every comedian I even remotely keep up with that watched Hundreds of Beavers adores it.

Doubt we'll have a year quite like 2024 until at least 2028.
