2/ I never said owning a gun is a sign of being an American. I said saying the government should “confiscate all assault weapons” is in my option going against the 2nd amendment right of the Constitution. What are you considering as an “assault weapon”?

All I’m saying is rounding up all the scary looking AR style guns will do nothing to solve gun violence. We need to focus on the root causes- poverty, lack of education, etc. If we improve these things, crime overall goes down. 1/

Then you know that almost zero mass shootings occur with an Assault rifle: firearm that has a selectable rate of fire to shoot semi- and full auto. There are plenty of solutions in combating gun violence, collecting all the guns is not one of them. It’s not realistic and I would argue Anti-American.

Leftest liberal here: Umm confiscate all assault weapons?? So you’re suggesting to break into every American home and take their property? I’m all for gun control but this is obviously coming from someone that has no idea about the 2nd Amendment or about guns. Do you know what an assault rifle is?
