New addition to my music collection: The Forbidden Sounds of Don Tiki by Don Tiki. This was the first new exotica group to emerge since tiki's original heyday in the 1950s-60s. Exotica guru Martin Denny is featured pianist on the opening and closing tracks.

I will be at the Texas Book Festival this coming weekend, signing copies of Inside the Texas Chicken Ranch & holding forth about all things related to the Best Little Whorehouse in Texas.
