New crochet project - a scarf (probably) in shades of blue & purple using tulip stitch. There is a dark blue crochet hook sticking out of the top.

Finished another blanket #crochet
A granny-square style baby blanket in shades of blue, green and pale purple. There is a dark blue square half way round fading out to a mixture of the other colours, then fading back out to dark blue for the outside border.

A blue, lilac, grey, & white friendship bracelet under construction, pinned to the left leg of my jeans. The bracelet is in a zigzag shape, caused by reversing the direction the knots are tied. The pattern is stripes.

I made Christmas dinner for seven people. It’s not the biggest I’ve ever made, but it was definitely one of the best 😁 #ifisaysomyself and listing it all for the alt-text has made me realise exactly how much I did.
The leftovers will be fab tomorrow #stuffed
Christmas Dinner being plated up. There is: mashed potato, roast potatoes, croquettes, peas, green beans, broccoli, sprouts, carrots, parsnips, chestnuts, leeks, stuffing balls, pigs in blankets, Yorkshire puddings (yes I will fight you, they belong on any kind of roast dinner), two jugs of gravy, roast pork with crackling, and a turkey crown. There are Christmas crackers in front of each place setting, and a variety of drinks including champagne and cans of Diet Coke. People’s faces have been covered with Santa emojis because they didn’t know I was taking the photo 😁

A few rows of embroidery cotton being macrame-ed into a bookmark. There are double rows of dusky pink, pale green, dark green, and warm orange being knotted into a chevron pattern. It is safety-pinned onto the left leg of my jeans while I work on it.

Briefly inspired to do a bit more work on my very long term #crochet project so I’ve had an hour or so sewing ends in.
A multi-coloured granny square crocheted blanket, spread out on a brown leather sofa. This is the front. It looks quite neat. The same multi-coloured crocheted granny square blanket but this time it’s the back. There are a lot of ends that need sewing in. Bits of it look like someone has dropped grey spaghetti on it (I’m using grey to join the squares together). There are a couple of areas that have been finished and look ok, but there is a big bit in the middle that, erm, doesn’t.
