Here in the states, the news requirements were dropped years ago. And now, even if you do news, it doesn't even have to be true or accurate, and it can be tailored to the intended audience. Hence the crap that passes for news on the right-wing news/talkers. Public service? Forget it...

We call them "Texas Tommy's" in the Philly area. Split the dog, put cheese and a pickle slice in the middle, wrap with bacon, bake till the bacon is crispy. Then bun it. Sometimes, once they were cooked, she'd wrap them in Pillsbury crescent roll dough and bake them again, instead of the bun...

Agreed. I think it's more well-liked that most people let on. It was a #1 record for 10 weeks at a time when that used to matter greatly. People just say they don't like it because they don't want others to know they like it.
