Why stop there? With the way things are going, we could offer the same to all women too. Reproductive rights are back in the 50’s and reversing fast these days.

Snow Crash is amazeballs. I remember the first time I finished it, I put the book down and stared into space for a good twenty minutes to process the flood of thoughts and emotions it caused. Then, I started reading it again.

I’ve been looking forward to this one since you mentioned them early on! Was it in the hash smoking assassins episode?

I’m one of the smartest and most mentally tough people I know, and I’m telling you: I need help, and that’s ok. It’s also ok that you need help, no matter why.

Stop judging the homeless for falling through the Grand Canyon sized “cracks” in our societies. Stop judging others period, and start helping. Erase the stigma that needing help is a sign of weakness.

Stop judging the people who openly admit to mental health and addiction. Stop judging the ones who hide it. Stop judging addicts because they’ve turned to the one outlet that is readily available to them.

Go to therapy. Use your work’s EAP line. Encourage your friends and family to do the same. Write your MP’s, Congressmen, Senators, governors, premiers, Prime Ministers, Presidents, local town councils, anyone and everyone who has the ability to make changes, no matter how small.

The monsters aren’t in the dark anymore, they’re in our heads and we’ve been told for years that we should be tough enough or smart enough to handle it on our own. That’s bullshit. No man is an island unto himself. We’re all in this together and we have to start looking out for each other.

to stand up and say enough is enough, let’s start treating the problem and not the symptoms.

We deal with more stress now than ever before in human history. Even the early humans who feared the dark because of the predators in it had less daily stress than we do now.

If we want to change the world for the better, start prioritizing mental health. Forget every other political issue, vote for the person that is willing to fund major overhauls to the mental health system. We need more residential care facilities. We need more community involvement. We need people…

but they’re powerless to change it. Those people are heroes, they willingly wade into a seemingly hopeless battle every single day and receive very little thanks for it.

When the people who are in the system tell you that they can’t do anything preventative that it has to be an emergency before they can intervene, that is a broken system. The frontline workers, the EMT’s, the crisis line workers, the school social workers, they all know how bad the problem is…

Boy, am I glad I decided to see if BlueSky had a cryptid community. The spooky geology part of your website is great. I foresee spending lots of time reading the articles! Thanks!

I’m sure I could google it, but, hey, post engagement, right? How would one obtain your zine?

Your stuff is great! If shipping to Canada isn’t horrible, I might have to order some early Christmas gifts!

I dunno, we’ve created some pretty amazing food too. Healthy? No. Crazy tasty? Yes.

Recently found them too, what are some of your other favourite podcasts? I’m constantly looking for non-profanity laden cryptid like podcasts. I like Astonishing Legends and Expanded Perspectives!

That’s a bold choice, but everyone knows that the best place to store the cheese grater is upside down in a bowl, filled with the fun size candy bars you stole from your kids Halloween candy.

They’re not interested in real conversations, though. It’s easier to bilk your constituency when they’re faceless hordes. The few that are already here are possible exceptions, but I’m of the opinion that anyone who wants to hold a political office shouldn’t be trusted to.

Nice! The ones I don’t see coming are always your best episodes!

I moved to Ontario from the rural south. I have to keep track of who I’m typing to and spell accordingly.
