I’d argue that it’s even more sinister. They didn’t like people getting free things, so they voted for the guy that said giving poor people stuff is bad. That’s it, that’s their entire existence…just making sure that others don’t get something.

Again, wording matters. You act like he turned down two NFL OC jobs to be an OC in college! That’s not what happened! He read the room and was aware they were not hiring him. So he took (a great gig) the next best thing.

Always makes me laugh how the media laps up statements like this. Dude wasn’t getting any HC jobs. That’s all this is. Don’t fall for any stupid cover. It’s OK to not get hired! He didn’t remove himself!

He has gotten better. But to be fair, he’s still the weakest “A” guy on all the networks, and that’s saying something because Herbstreit sucks.

Agree. They should keep Nico. His D is great at 2B and I love his ability to make contact. Shaw looks to me like a AAAA player.
