Ex-pat
I've never liked him.He comes across as a bit of a patronising twat.Again remarkable how he has a little boys club who think he can do no wrong???

I believe she's a better bet than the awful Jenrick. She's learning atm, and is gaffe prone, but the government needs good opposition. So the sooner she ups her game, the better for everyone.

Gave me chuckle. Used to work with a bloke offshore many years ago who was very well bought up, in fact he was impeccable.Clarkson was his absolute hero, his idol, a kind of escape from his rules based upbringing.

Glad you missed Vegas...Nothing to see there or LA for that matter. But SF is still my favourite city in the world, I hear it's gone down hill since last time I was there.( 2001).

Big Sur....One of my favourite drives ever.

Disturbing...But they are out there.I could go on and say it's not the only place this is going on.But I'm not going to this time.Again if you thought 2001 was the only time you thought the world had changed think again.Since 2016 and fake news populism has turned this world on its head.

At the time when I left (99),i joined RMR London, served their for a bit and could have done Telic, but I was starting a career on ropes offshore and was in the middle of that.At the time I thought I'd missed out.Now I count my blessings my old mum told me a few home truths and I didn't go.

Maybe....I think we're all affected in one way or another.Interesting you should bring that up though.I saw a little bit, nothing like my predescesors on corporate or successors in Iraq or Afghanistan.I think you could be right though.

Really hate them.

Distinctly remember his time in office with the many impersonations from the likes if Mike Yarwood etc.
On a more serious note he knew what he was up against in the middle east.
