I actually have, Bank of Dave was a feel-good movie about a guy in the UK who wanted to make a savings & loan for honest, poor folk and faced establishment opposition. I was very surprised to hear that they'd made a sequel, though, when I looked up the story the film was based on!

I don't think I realized your dad had a dementia diagnosis. I'm so sorry, for both of you. It especially pains me when it afflicts people like your father who obviously value education and making the best of one's internal mental life.

He and Brent Spiner did a joint Q&A there that was also one of my favorite con memories: Brent broke into his Sir Patrick impression, "Good morning, Geordi! Are you ready for your French lesson? Repeat after me..." and they both came to tears of laughter, probably over our English Frenchman. 😂
